Apt-Get Per Windows: Progetto Windows-Get

Ed ecco che il comodissimo tools Apt-Get di Linux è disponibile anche su Windows.

Rendere disponibili applicativi freeware creati per sistemi Windows attraverso la repository http://windows-get.sourceforge.net/winget1.php. Questo è lo scopo che si prefigge il progetto Windows-get.

Il software windows-get funziona tramite linea di comando. Bisogna entra in:

Start->Esegui e digitare il comando cmd.

Si aprirà la finestra dei comandi Dos.

Per cercare un software da installare basterà scrivere:

win-get search firefox

Uscirà una videata come questa:

C:\>win-get search firefox

Per installare il software basterà scrivere:

win-get install firefox

Verrà scaricato dalla repository il software firefox e avviata l'installazione.

Qui di seguito i vari comandi di questo tool:

C:\>win-get

Usage: win-get [switches] [action] [application]

Supported Actions:
win-get do [application] - download only
win-get info [application] - display information about an application
win-get install [application] - download and launch standard installer
win-get sinstall [application] - download launch silent installer
win-get search [application] - search repository for an application
win-get help - show this text
win-get uninstall - launch the windows uninstall system
win-get version - shows the version of win-get
win-get restore - restores a list of applications stored on the repository
win-get dorestore - download applications for a restore but do not install them

win-get repbackup - duplicates the copies of a remote repository *requires admin
username / password*

Switches:
-r - use requests table of repository
-noreport - turn off error reporting
-rep=[url] - use the specified repository
-u=[username] - set the username
-p=[password] - set the password
